    Update to Support TLS and Basic Auth

    * Adds `Protocol` parameter to support HTTPS * Adds

    Add version check to startup

    As Elastic is deprecating the `_type` element in the `bulk` API, add a
    version check to the start so we know whether or not to include the `_type`
    element.
